The Cliff Gardens at night on Goodrington Sands are a sight to behold, like being in some wonderland; they come alive with a spectacular spectrum of colour from the halogen light display. This generates a lovely atmosphere while strolling along the promenade as the reflections glisten on the sea skimming across the rippling offshore waters of the Bay.
In the evening the promenade is also very popular as a fishing spot with many people fishing into the night and catching anything from Mackerel, Garfish and Pollock to even, if you are very lucky, the odd bass.
The lighting display at Goodrington Sands is probably one of the best in Torbay.
