This Park is cared for by Young´s Park People, who are a democratic, voluntary group, dedicated to caring for, and cherishing this historic, unique park in Goodrington. Formed on 1st May 2007, by park users, both local and holiday visitors and traders, who decided it was time to bring the beauty, back to Goodrington & Youngs Park.
One of the goals of Young´s Park People is to gain Green Flag status for the park to raise the profile for the benefit of all. This Goal was achieved when the green flag was awarded to Youngs Park in 2010.
With the co-operation of the local council, they will take over the care and daily maintenance of the main flower beds, also to preserve and protect the park and wild fowl centre for generations to come.
